The Gonzaba Scholarship was formed for the purpose of encouraging our young adults to attain higher education through college or university.
Information regarding the Gonzaba Scholarship Fund:
The Gonzaba Scholarship Fund was started in October 1999
The first scholarship was awarded at the Gonzaba Family Reunion on Saturday October 21, 2000. Each year, the number of scholarships and amount of each scholarship is determined by the amount of money collected through fundraising and pledges
The Scholarship will be awarded to individuals attending a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university program (trade/technical schools and others of this type will not be accepted)
Recipients will be notified no later than October 1, by email and/or phone call

GONZABA SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
1. Must be a Gonzaba Family Member by blood line or maybe a legally adopted step child.
2.The scholarship will be awarded to an individual attending a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university program.
3.First and second year College/University student seeking an undergraduate degree. (Scholarships to be dispersed for 2 semesters at the conclusion of the fall semesters)
4.Grades must be submitted to the scholarship committee at the end of each semester for the award to be dispersed.
5.Must complete 12 or more course hours/semester. A minimum GPA of 2.0 at the end of each semester must be achieved.
NOTE: Application must be received by midnight September 4. No applications will be accepted after this date.
